ABOUT US

We provide all sorts of people,young and old, locals and tourists alike with the means  with which to view Greyton and the surrounding areas by bicycle and to have fun by riding one of the ever increasing number of tracks. Due to the suitable terrain, Greyton is fairly popular with cyclists and there is currently much work underway to extend the network of routes in the area

GREYTON

Greyton is a very scenic village filled with beautifull old style houses and flanked by some quite spectacular mountains, which, in the winter months often have snow

BIKES  AND  ACCESORIES

The scenery on the bike routes in and around Greyton is lovely .We have 12 bicycles. All bicycles have lightweight aluminium frames and have been set-up with comfortable seats. Some  bikes have full hydraulic disc brakes with remote lockout and computers  . Baby carriers , helmets, water bottles,walkie talkies and rucksacks with repair kits are all available on request at a minimal surcharge ( no surcharge for helmets ). For the more serious riders, we can swop out the spring seats with standard seats if preferred.

LOCATION

We are located at 3 High Street in Greyton, near to Osmans Supply Store and in between the book shop and the fish and chip shop.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

There are a number of other activities available in Greyton, such as  horse riding, walking in the mountains (spectacular – you can even walk all the way to McGregor and back if you wish ), swimming in the river or one of the dams , canoeing, yoga, aryuvedic healing ….etc,etc…

STILLNESS

Try to take at least an hours time out to take a walk into the nature reserve,stare at the mountain and feel the stilness and remind yourself that amidst all the chaos of life, there are always moments of tranquility and peace .

CYCLING  -  FUN AND FLEXIBLE

The best ways to take in the splendour of Greyton are: By foot, by bicycle, or by horse-cart.Of the three,we like to think that cycling offers the most flexibility as you can go as slow or as fast as you like, you can stop and start when you like and you burn lots of calories – lastly, it’s a bundle of fun

HIRE RATES    (APPLICABLE FROM AUGUST 23 , 2010  )

Our rates are:  R150 per day /  R100 per half day /  R60 per hour

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING FROM US

We require a R500 returnable deposit. We  require  valid identification to be left with us, which will be returned to you upon the return of the bicycle/s.  Lastly,completion of an indemnity form.
